Winter parking restrictions have ended! Even though you can now park on the street overnight, you still must remove vehicles off the street during and for 24 hours after a snow event.
Thank you to all our residents who made the effort to follow the new ordinance. While our officers did issue some citations this year, we focused more on education. We know moving your vehicles off the street each night is a hassle, but we also know it made our streets safer.

Registration for Co-Ed Volleyball closes tonight at 5pm!

A tree has gone down on the power lines and has caused a power outage in the area of Lindsay Park. It will affect the North side of Paxton place to the South side of Park place. Crews will be working to repair and restore power. Estimated time for restoring power will be 3-5 hours. Updates will be provided as they become available.
***Due to high winds, more power outages are possible. If you experience a power outage please call (435)723-6868.

The snow started not too long ago, but it is already creating some dangerous driving conditions. Be safe out there, and remember to avoid parking on the street until 24 hours after the snow stops falling. Main Street between 200 South and 100 North is exempt during business hours, and so is the area around the high school during school hours. Overnight parking restrictions are also in effect until March 15.

Water levels in the creek will continue to run high for the next few days. We are pulling the level of the reservoir down to accommodate all the water in the mountains. (And all that is still falling!) If you have questions, contact Public Works at 435-734-6615. (Obligatory heart on the photo because it's Valentine's Day and because we love having water in the mountains but we especially love it when we can avoid flooding.)
