Beginning Monday, April 1, the west side entrance and parking lot of Rees Pioneer Park will be closed to facilitate an irrigation and storm water project running through the Park. The project is expected to take up to 4 weeks. Visitors to the park should use the entrance on the east side of the swimming pool or the parking lot located on 600 West.
In addition, the pond has been drained to facilitate installing a new control structure along with irrigation and storm drain piping. We are doing our best to keep enough water in the pond to sustain the wildlife that live in the area.
